Privacy Policy | POP MEDIA

Last updated June 17, 2026

Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at POP MEDIA, doing business as POP MEDIA ("POP MEDIA", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy notice, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at hello@popmedia.co.il.

When you use our mobile application (the "App") and more generally, use any of our services (the "Services", which include the App), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy notice that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our Services (which, as described above, includes our App), as well as any related services.

Please read this privacy notice carefully as it will help you understand what we do with the information that we collect.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your device's advertising identifier and certain device and usage characteristics — is collected automatically when you use our App.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name or email address in order to play. The App does not offer social media login, and the App does not offer in-app purchases.

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device, advertising, and usage information, such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and operating system characteristics, language preferences, country, gameplay events, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to serve advertising, to maintain the security and operation of our App, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

The information we collect includes:

Advertising Identifier. We (and our advertising partner) collect your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, "AD_ID") to serve advertisements, to measure advertising performance, and to limit the number of times you see a given ad. You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalization at any time through your device settings.

Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage and performance information that our service providers automatically collect when you use our App. This data may include your IP address, device information, operating system and App version, session and gameplay events, feature interactions, date and time stamps, system activity, error reports, crash reports, and performance data.

Device Data. We collect device data such as information about the device you use to access the App. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address, device and application identification numbers, device type, operating system and configuration information, and mobile carrier.

Advertising (CAS.AI). We use CAS.AI (CleverAdsSolutions) as our advertising mediation provider to serve advertisements in the App. CAS.AI and the ad networks it mediates may process your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and ad-interaction data in order to serve and measure advertisements. For more information, please review the CAS.AI privacy policy.

Aego Analytics. We use Aego, an analytics solution provided or operated by Barel, to understand how users interact with our App and Services. Aego may process device and app identifiers, session information, gameplay and feature-interaction events, technical information, and aggregated usage statistics. We use this information to measure engagement, improve features, balance gameplay, troubleshoot issues, and understand service performance.

Sentry. We use Sentry for application monitoring, error tracking, crash reporting, and performance diagnostics. When an error or crash occurs, Sentry may process technical information such as device type, operating system and App version, IP address, timestamps, error messages, stack traces, performance measurements, and the sequence of technical events leading to the issue. We use this information to identify and resolve bugs, maintain security, and improve stability.

Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding certain features of the App. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information to operate the App, to serve advertising, for analytics and diagnostics, and for compliance with our legal obligations.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes, in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to provide the Services to you, with your consent where required, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations:

  • To deliver and operate the App. We use information to provide you with the App and its features and to keep it working correctly.
  • To serve and measure advertising. We use your advertising identifier and related data to display advertisements, to measure their performance, and to support the free, ad-supported nature of the App.
  • For analytics and product improvement. We use gameplay and usage data to analyze how the App is used, to identify usage trends, to balance gameplay difficulty, and to improve the App. We may use and store this information in aggregated and anonymized form.
  • For diagnostics, stability, and security. We use crash, error, and performance data to identify and resolve bugs, maintain security, and improve stability.
  • To respond to inquiries and provide support. We use information you voluntarily provide when you contact us to respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.

3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

In Short: We only share information with service providers that help us operate the App, to comply with laws, or to protect our rights.

We may process or share your data that we hold based on the following legal basis:

  • Consent: We may process your data if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose.
  • Legitimate Interests: We may process your data when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests, such as serving advertising and improving the App.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
  • Vital Interests: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, or illegal activities.

More specifically, we may need to process your data or share your information in the following situations:

  • Service Providers. We share data with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. These are described in Section 4 below.
  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

4. WHO WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH?

In Short: We only share information with the following categories of third parties.

We only share and disclose your information with the following third parties, categorized by the purpose of the data processing:

Advertising

  • CAS.AI (CleverAdsSolutions) — advertising mediation, and the ad networks it mediates.

Analytics

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible, then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. You should only access the App within a secure environment.

7. WHAT IS OUR STANCE ON THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING AND WEBSITES?

In Short: We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party advertisers or websites that are not affiliated with us.

The App displays advertisements served through our advertising partner. These advertisements may link to other websites, online services, or mobile applications operated by third parties that are not affiliated with us. Any data collected by such third parties is not covered by this privacy notice. We are not responsible for the content, privacy, or security practices of any third parties. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly with any questions.

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN?

In Short: The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

The App is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from a child under age 13, please contact us at hello@popmedia.co.il.

9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: In some regions, such as the European Economic Area, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.

In some regions (like the European Economic Area), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure, (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information, and (iv) where applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. To make such a request, please use the contact details provided below.

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.

Advertising identifier and opt-out. Because the App is ad-supported, advertising is served using your device's advertising identifier. You can reset your advertising identifier, or opt out of ad personalization, at any time through your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices).

If you are resident in the European Economic Area and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may email us at hello@popmedia.co.il.

10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

11. DO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

In Short: Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

We do not sell personal information. Where we share your advertising identifier and related data with our advertising partner to serve ads, this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain laws; you can limit this through your device's ad settings as described in Section 9.

12. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
